What about steady beats and rhythm? Are they lost in the course of the " Contemporary Music"?

“There is no theory, pleasure is the law”
Debussy: “There is no theory, pleasure is the law”
Debussy having just played a series of intervals on the piano, Guiraud asks “What’s that?” Debussy replies, “Incomplete chords, floating …. One can travel where one wishes and leave by any door. Greater nuances.” To which Guiraud responds, “I am not saying what you do isn’t beautiful, but it’s theoretically absurd.” Says Debussy, “There is no theory. You have merely to listen. Pleasure is the law.”
Stravinsky:
“I am in the present. I cannot know what tomorrow will bring forth. I can know only what the truth is for me today. That is what I am called upon to serve, and I serve it in all lucidity.
Futurism: “destroy history and make art for the future.”

Virtuality
Virtuality has become boring? It is time to leave the 'dark virtual years' behind us?
We like to see people of flesh and blood. Do we prefer to see robots playing football rather than a virtual soccer game? Is there a future for "autonomous art" (the painting, the string quartet) or preludes the interactivity between the different arts and the integration of new technology a new era?
