Matt Wright is an improvising turntablist, composer and sonic artist, having had performances at venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Le Poisson Rouge (New York), Kim Ma Theatre (Hanoi, Vietnam) and Abbey Road Studios, London. He works closely with saxophonist Evan Parker in their co-composition project Trance Map and with many other collaborators across Europe, North and Central America, Asia and Australasia. He is a Professor of Composition and Sonic Art at Canterbury Christ Church University in the UK.
